Baba Noel Earrings

A little-known fact is that Saint Nicholas, or Father Christmas, was born and lived his entire life on the modern-day Turkish coast. Though of Greek heritage, memorials and celebrations of his life are still held in the Turkish town of Demre, where he devoted his life’s work to the poor and was known for rewarding children for good behavior. This festive pair of hand-crafted earrings pays special tribute to he legacy of “Baba Noel,” featuring a filigree Christmas tree motif, adorned with freshwater pearl and gorgeous turquoise, all in ancient Ottoman style!
